Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts of Cambodia with the National Library, Institut Français du Cambodge, France Embassy hosted “The National Book Fair and Photo 2011” at the National Library to promote books and reading section in Cambodia as titled “Books and Reading Vision Promotion is a bridge of knowledge which has no border”.
In this event has many publishers, bookshops, authors, joined and displayed their books with many titles and subjects in history, philosophy, culture, literature-fiction, education, lifestyle, fashion, information technology, geography. Publishing houses and Bookshops are National Library, Nokorwat, Boeng Tonle Sap, Sipar, Angkor Book Shop, Banteay Srey, Sovrin magazine, Mind Books, DC-Cam, Phnom Penh Post, Institut Français, Domrei Sor, Shanti Volunteer Association, Publishing and Distribution House of Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, Federation for the Development of the Book Sector in Cambodia, Idea Book, Khmer Writers Association, Tep Komar, ... and Authors as Pal Vannarirak, Khiev Sophat, etc. as well as foreigner and Khmer readers especially student from other universities.
Furthermore, Ministry of Culture, and Sipar organization has mobile library which allow our readers who stay far from downtown and urban can use it. This mobile library are travelling mostly around the nation.
